Lathley - Jacket Two
The second jacket made in the Lathley Outerwear Design Course is designed to be a slightly more complex build. Made from a 3-layer mesh backed waterproof breathable hard shell material from the world renowned Schoeller Textiles.
While jacket Two is incredibly technical with features like 30K waterproof breathable fabric and fully sealed seams, the design itself is understated. Double storm flaps along the zipper and a tall collar keep out the elements, while a gunmetal #5 YKK metal zipper elevate the design into more than just a technical jacket. Exterior facing along the inside of the zipper and the inside of the removable hood keep the exterior entirely black, giving the jacket a clean look. A slim cut in the arms and torso keep the jacket sleek while the length hits below the waist to keep out the cold and rain. Finally the chest pocket features a side facing bright orange zipper, a subtle hint at the technicality hiding within the jacket.
